Hi everyone,
I have to cancel the 9-5 race again this year. I'm really bummed that I can't make it happen. I had some help from other people that were interested in making it happen, but ultimately I just put it off for too long. The race was supposed to be a benefit for my good friend Brett Jarolimek's memorial fund, so it stings a bit more. Brett was a really great guy and deserves more.

Owning my own business means working two full-time demanding jobs, (I'm still at Bike Gallery 4 days a week) while trying to be a good father to my 10 month old daughter and a dependable husband to my beautiful wife, means there is no such thing as "free time" in my life. Wearing a promoter's hat is something I have no business even attempting.

If there is any interest in making a benefit race for Brett happen, please do. I would like to say I could help, but honestly I don't think it's possible.
