North Umpqua River Trail

My suggestion is to start at Dread and Terror and end up around Soda Springs
or Marsters. Eagle Rock is a good spot to camp. Despite the fact that
there is 80 miles of single track here, the majority of it isn't that good.
The last 30-40 miles are a poison oak forest. Stick to the upper half and
you will have your mind blown.

Has anyone road this and if so can you tell me how many miles I could expect to complete in a day? I know that is pretty vague and highly subject to rider ability and fitness but lets assume I am pretty fit and a good solid rider.

I want to head down there on a Saturday morning - setup camp and ride. The next day head out for a ride then head home. I would like maybe 4-5 hours of riding on Saturday with probably 4-5 hours on Sunday as well.

Any advice where to camp maybe out and back west/east one day then east/west the next?

I also saw that the Calf segment was closed due to unsafe conditions. Is that still the case?

Thanks
