Even though it is a gravel fire road, supposedly Firelane 7 has always been off limits to mountain bikes.  Horses and hikers only.  Later NWTA supported this and posted volunteers at the top to discourage mountain bikers from going down.

Think about that the next time you are encouraged to renew your membership.

So I was riding forest park last night and when I got to the bottom of FL#7 there was a sign indicating no bikes, but I didn't see one at the top.
Does this mean no bikes at all or does it mean no bikes climbing FL#7?
