Don't forget about the Cascade Fat Tite Festival July 13 and 14 in Oakridge.





Great family tours on Saturday and XC racing on Sunday.





The XC course is great with a little bit of everything and lots of single


track, but still room to pass.





The city has given me a grant in hopes on rebuilding this event into what it


was back in the mid 90's when 500+ people attended races in Oakridge.





With the grant money EVERYONE gets a free T-Shirt and Waterbottle and there


will be a little more prize $$. Top 3 Pro/Exp women and men will get equal


pay... 1st $150, 2nd $100 3rd $75. Top three Vet, Jr and master men Pro/Exp


will be paid out depending on class size.





I REALLY hope we have a great turn out, because the more people that come


this year the more grant money they will be willing to give for 2003. My


goal for 2003 is to have a $500 1st place prize if not more and make Oakridge


the prime NW event.
