Because hotel accommodations in Bend are tight, we have arranged
additional accommodations at Summit High School. This is a brand new
high school with a mat room for sleeping, a secure outdoor courtyard
for camping, and ample shower and restroom facilities. It is located
within easy riding distance of all race venues in Bend (McKenzie Pass
stage requires a shuttle, and the Masters/Cat3 race on Friday afternoon
starts at Mt. Bachelor ski area)
If you would like to stay at Summit High School, please notify the
housing coordinator, Karen Kenlan, at ccc-@teleport.com by June 30,
or send a housing registration form from the website with your
pre-registration indicating that you will be staying at the High School
so we can get an estimate about how many people will be using the
facility. There will be a one-time $25 fee per person to stay at the
High School payable at registration. The High School will be available
beginning after registration on Tuesday, July 9th to Sunday, July 14th.
Please note that there is also host housing at private houses for Pro
1/2 and Women racers.
Also, remember that pre-registration must be completed by July 3 (or
postmarked June 28). Registration the week of the race in Bend will
cost $10 extra. There is no day of race registration.
