Hello Max,
A standard route is MAX to Hillsboro, then take baseline to Cornelius,
south on 10th, right (west) on Geiger, south on Fern Hill, left
(south) on Spring Hill, becomes North Valley Road, becomes Ribbon
Ridge road, take a right on 240 then a left on Abbey Road which brings
you to Lafayette OR, then take 99W to McMinnville.
Its only 30 miles from the MAX, why not ride both ways? ;-)
