The bendbroadband/WebCyclery.com team would like to thank all the volunteers that made the CCC another fabulous success. It's one thing to go race in the heat, but it is a whole other thing to stand in the heat for hours, and have ungrateful riders and motorist yell at you for various reasons.

In particular, I was truly amazed at the calmness and authority of the 60 year-old plus women volunteer who was getting berated by the riders as they missed the turn on to Shevlin Park drive, at the Mt. Washington roundabout. She was fearlessly standing in the street, anxiously waving her orange flags as riders approached. A number of riders over-shot the corner and went straight and then began dropping f-bombs on the volunteers. Rider error doesn't constitute verbal error.

As a team, we also noticed how well the motor cycle cops controlled traffic. There were lots of cars on the course but by the time our group got to them the police had asked them to move over so that we could pass . Thanks for looking out for our safety.

Great job Renee at finding such quality people.
