your local dry cleaning place typically does alterations and sewing
repair. maybe find one that has a serger and that has worked with
stretchy fabric (most have or know a friend who has..) maybe pre-cut-up the
4 inch extension from your old see my crack shorts that were hopefully
headed for the garbage... it should take all of 5 minutes to serge these
on.
