I can attach almost anything to aluminum, ti, or carbon bikes (for example full
fender mounts on a road bike)

no bulky/knee cutting clamps either, the paint can be blended as well

probably not as cheap as a clamp though.

Sughara-San,

No. No motor for you! You must battle with honor. And fuel your power your
bike with passion, not petro. But if you just make the motorbike noise
with your mouth as you ride it will feel like you are going faster. Also
if you alternate the motorbike sounds with periods of wind like whooshing
sounds, you would feel really fast while simultaneously enhancing the
experience for those of us racing with you at events. I try to do both of
these things when I race short track at PIR, while also yelling out to the
officials each lap and asking "What place am I? Am I closing the gap? How
far back am I? How far ahead are the leaders?" But my favorite thing to
ask anyone I see while racing, is "Is Kenji catching me?" :-)

Sincerely,

-Schauer-San

Thanks everyone!  I got lots of good responses, ideas, links and pictures.  A bolt on stop seems like it will work well for me.

You can use full length housing and zip ties for your rear brake, but
you still need a stop for the front derailleur. You could use a clamp
on front derailleur hanger (like for a braze on front derailleur) and
modify it to work as a cable stop.

Full length housing may work for brakes, but most modern front derailleurs do not have a built in housing stop. You will need a frame mounted housing stop for them to work. I've seen bolt-through DT shifter bosses on several aluminum and titanium frames that were used to attach housing stops ( my Ti Serotta had them). Perhaps something like that will work?

full length cable housing... eliminates the need for a cable stop too.

cable stop? cheap, simple, lightweight.

what are you thinking?

how about dura ace electronic? more expensive, heavier, but cooler than anyone
else out there.
that's the bike racer way!

If all else fails... one used to be able to buy clamps to fit frames with cablestops. Not sure if they still are sold and or if they would fit an alum. frame.
