So well said I personally feel blessed for the opportunities for growth. My son Clyde will be attending Westview so great to see an event there wish I could have come out for this one.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] westview short track race

Thanks to Pam Reid, Westview High and the Wildcat student and parent volunteers (and racers) for taking a chance on putting on a bike race at their school. Also the sponsors for stepping up to help the cause (the cross country team) and all the racers who came and raced. I am sure much was learned about potential for making the event better for all stakeholders next year (I saw some great options to increase the pain during set up). This not only supported the cross country team and people who got to race their bikes, but was an opportunity for high school age students who were on campus, to observe opportunities for them to pursue fun, competitive and healthy activities in cycling. For kids who are not basketball, football or other players, this might be a way for them to see a positive path to follow! Every person who gives people (kids and adults) options for positive growth is helping our society.
This race and the other OBRA sanctioned events taking place this weekend are options for that growth. Thanks OBRA for the support with regard to growth of the sport. I didn't even notice Kenji stuck in the blackberries!
just my opinion.
