WHAT:
Come watch the area's fastest cyclists compete for the region's biggest
purse in the Portland Twilight Criterium presented by Subaru. The course
surrounds the North Park Blocks of downtown Portland, creating an island
oasis of 360-degree viewing, music, food and beverage. There are several
places where you can get close enough to feel the wind from the racers. Each
lap is one-half mile long which takes the racers just over one minute to
complete. The event is free to attend and great for families. Come downtown
Friday evening, to experience the excitement yourself.
WHERE:
The Portland Twilight Criterium presented by Subaru is conveniently located
in the North Park Blocks of downtown Portland. The park blocks start just
north of West Burnside Avenue by the elephant statue. Course Map:

The fee on the day of the race is $30. If spots are open, there will be
limited day of registration at race site! Online registration is highly

LICENSE
An OBRA license required. You may purchase a full year OBRA membership for
$20 or a one-day OBRA license for $5. You license may be purchased day of

Cat 3 -- 45 min 6:30 pm
Pro 1, 2 -- 1 hour 7:30 pm
Free lap rule is in effect.
Warm-ups are 15 minutes before each race.

Primes will be a combination of cash and product/merchandise. They are
valued at over $4,000 total for the race. They will be announced at the
start of each race by the officials.
DIRECTIONS:
FREE bike parking is provided by Yakima and Bikes to Rwanda. The bike
parking area is located on Park and Flanders, on the north side of the
event. Bring a lock to secure your bike. There is no official race parking
so competitors and spectators will need to either park on city streets. Car
parking is limited and it is recommended that you carpool or arrive by other
means of transportation. Please note that the Broadway Bridge is under

Over 100 volunteers are needed to help make the Portland Twilight Criterium
presented by Subaru, a success. No special skills are required. All
