I have to concur with James - this was an awesome race, and I am very sad by the fact that a prior commitment will prevent me from racing this great course again on Aug. 10. This race had everything... amazing singletrack, a grueling climb to earn that singletrack, great community support... I could go on and on. A big thanks to Randy and his volunteers, and the the city and businesses of Oakridge for making this race happen. This will be a "must ride" on my calendar next year.

In my years of racing I have seen the good and the bad. I must commend Randy and his staff for what I can easily say was one of the best run and best designed courses. My appologies to Randy for the low turnout, but moreso, my appologies to all of the racers who missed a BLAST of a course and a great atmosphere which has been noticeably absent in recent times.
Just remember, you all have one more chance to experience the fun on the 10th of August (this is a Saturday event!)
