A huge thanks to everyone one that attended the season opening Upper Echelon
Fitness + Portland Bicycle Studio cyclocross clinic last Tuesday night at
Alpenrose Velodrome!
Don't tell us it is too early to practice your cx technique!
We pulled the Cross Crusade barriers out of storage, had the Portland
Bicycle Studio team bring out the cones and set up a couple of practice
loops. There were so many new people! It is always unbelievable every year,
dozens of new-to-cyclocross first timers and a plenty of familiar faces too.
Portland Bicycle Studio is going to be on site at every clinic with the a
range of 2011 Ridley cyclocross bicycles for you to check out!
Complete Ridley cyclocross bicycles start at $1395.00 so there is something
to fit every budget. You can get yourself on a full carbon fibre Ridley
X-Fire for $2395.00! This is be a great time for you to come, out talk to
cyclocross professionals, practice your technique, check out the latest and
hottest cyclocross bicycles and gear and meet with our celebrity coaches.
Portland Bicycle Studio will also be bringing out Dugast and FMB cyclocross
tubular tires as soon as they are through customs and in our hands. They are
not going to last long! Have you laid eyes on the new TRP mini - V brakes?
They are awesome! Questions about why your brakes don't work? Wondering if
your bike should be making those strange noises? We are your source for
cyclocross service, tubulars and equipment.
UEF and PBS offer a world of resources to beginner and elite riders alike.
Come check out our coaching, fitting and equipment services and
recommendations. You do not need to suffer an ill fitting and poorly
adjusted cyclocross bike. Your season will be far more successful and
enjoyable on a well tuned and properly fit cx bike!

Pre-registration is recommended (as the clinics tend to sell out) but, drop
ins are welcome too. And, if you just want to ride out, look at the bikes
and gear and check everything out, that is cool too!
The clinics begin at 6:30pm every Tuesday evening running through September
21st.
