Brendon Gallant
For sale:
2010 Scott Addict R2, 49cm frame, measures out to 51cm top tube. Will fit
men and women 5'8" and shorter, depending on leg length.
Addict R2 frameset is identical to the R1, which has been the winningest
frameset in the pro peloton, save for the paintjob. Carbon layup is
identical, as is the integrated bottom bracket. The only significant
difference is the use of a traditional seatpost, which makes shipping
infinitely easier. The R2 is an incredibly stiff frame giving one plenty of
positive sensations, while providing a supple ride. Standing on the pedals
during a climb, or exiting a corner, and you'll realize why Mark Cavendish
chooses this machine over the new aero Scott frame. The frame uses many
industry standards for seatpost and headtube, so part swapping is a breeze.
I purchased the bike earlier this year in April, and have ridden it through
this past week. The bike has never touched the ground, and I've waxed the
frame to ensure the paint and clearcoat have stayed as fresh as possible. I
maintain my bikes with the utmost care so you can be assured you are getting
a first rate product.
Frame, fork, headset, seatpost, and bottom bracket for $1450
The bike is also for sale as a complete built up with a combination of SRAM
Rival and Ultegra 6700 with a FSA cockpit, Selle Italia SLK and Fulcrum 7
wheels for $2750
Prices are negotiable, I'd be happy to do test rides if needed, and I have
plenty of pictures. If you would like to chat more about it just send me a
reply off list!
