SEPT 12th, 2-5pm, 15th and Walnut (ODOT
Property):
THE BIG OL' BICYCLE BREAKDOWN
Come hang out with the UO Bike Program and get in on the action tearing
apart a bunch of bikes! See, we have a big shipping container filled with
donated bikes that have accumulated over the past two years. We want to use
the parts from these partially built bikes to make new bikes and get
students riding. So, they've got to come apart!
Come join us for this *Big Ol' Bicycle Breakdown *and you will:
*Experience the *THRILLS* of reducing a busted up bicycle to a pile of
pieces
*Learn more about bikes and how they are constructed
*Enjoy free food
*Contribute to the movement towards sustainability and active transportation
on our campus and in our community
*Learn about ongoing volunteer opportunities with the UO Bike Program,
including ways to *get paid* for volunteering with us
*Have *FUN* with bike-inclined people of all sorts
It's going to be *Sunday, Set. 12th, from 2-5pm, at the 15th and Walnut ODOT
Property (where our container is
located)
*. Please feel free to tell your friends, and to call or email with
questions! You can reach us at bikes@uoregon.edu, and at 541-346-4365.
