Come on out to the races Sept. 7, 14, and 21! Handicap-style racing begins each night at 6:30pm with "higher" cats heading out before the faster riders -- each group must work together to catch the preceding one in order to contest for primes and the race win. Women are encouraged to participate in the men's fields, and a grand prize will be awarded to the top woman in the three-week handicap series.
Additional races each night include a women's race (all cats, start time 5:50) and a men's novice 4/5 race (start time 6:00).
Registration opens at 5:15 and closes 5 min prior to the start of each race. OBRA membership is required; one-day licenses available. Registration fees: $15 for men ($40 for full series), $5 for women and juniors, $5 for second race on the same night.
Top three finishers in each night's races and top three overall series finishers will earn prizes! Please see the race flyer for further info: http://www.obra.org/flyers/2010/cat_and_mouse.pdf
