Hi,

Just curious if anyone in OBRA land could provide me, Mr. 23rd-out-of-25 in the beginner category this weekend on my insanely over-geared singlespeed, any info about the two courses in Hood River this weekend. And how they compare to Bald Peak in terms of hilliness and, uh, what's on the ground (lots of loose gravel vs. hard-pack gravel vs. mud vs. grass vs. etc).

Example: For toodling around the course at Alpenrose for clinics, I think I'm A-OK. Nothing too steep or soft. For Pain n' Suffern, I was definitely in pain and sufferin' with that gear choice (42x19).
