I recently sent out a request for help with fenders for a roadbike and I got
some interesting recommendations. I thought I'd share quickly with the group
that I got some support for my friend's recommendation for SKS Raceblade
fenders, but also some other interesting recommendations. I'm reporting
second hand news here, but if and when I have the fenders in hand and can
report something from direct experience, I will.

The recommendations other than SKS included Planet Bike Speedez with
Cascadia mud flaps. I also saw a recommendation for Axiom Fasback DLX Reflex
and for Crud Roadrace fenders. This got interesting because the
recomendation for Crud mentioned getting them from Northwest Multisports,
which is a shop I've been to in Corvallis and respect. I checked out their
web site and saw they sell the Axiom, but there was no mention of Crud. I
called to ask about this, and they said Crud was new and has become their
recommended fender.So, given a couple of interesting alternatives, I'll go
over and take a look and decide.

I also want to reach out to a response I got from someone who mentioned
riding in Florence a few miles south of here. I managed to erase the message
and would like to ask for the person to contact me again. I don't want to be
rude by being nonresponsive
