In response to your many last minute emails (and more than a few panic
calls), here's an update. For starters, Candi, Tony and our many
amazing sponsors and volunteers intend the Blind Date series to be a low
stress, fun, after-work cyclocross experience, so please remember to
smile, laugh, ride fast and have fun!

Pre-registered Racers: If you pre-registered, we'll have a special spot
for you to pick up your race number and t-shirt so you can minimize your
time in the registration area.

Registration for Season Series: Online pre-registration for the Blind
Date five race series ran closed yesterday. You can still register for
the season series and get a free t-shirt by signing up for the season
series tonight at Alpenrose. Please download the combined registration
form/OBRA release from our website and fill it in advance.
www.crossseries.com

Registration for Individual Races: You can still pre-register online
for individual races. Alternatively, you can register onsite at
Alpenrose for individual races or do so at 21st Avenue Bicycles. If you
intend to register at Alpenrose, please fill in the registration form in
advance!

Blind Date T-Shirts & Castelli Caps: T-shirts will be available for $15
each if any are left over after we distribute them to those who signed
up for the season. If we have massive interest, we may do a second run
of t-shirts. Caps should be available for sale for $15 each at Blind
Date # 2, next Wednesday. 21st Avenue Bicycles will have t-shirts and
caps for sale too, at the same price.

Free Castelli Blind Date Cap: Post your photos and video on our
facebook page (which is open to anyone to join) at:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=146750388669378&ref=ts . We'll
award Blind Date caps for the best pictures.

KOIN TV: KOIN TV's Heidi Protto wants to do a story on the Blind Date.
She has requested video and photos. Please post your video and photos
on our facebook page. You can also access the facebook page from the
link on the top right of the home page of our website.
www.crossseries.com I think she wants a collage of
participants/spectators' digital photos and video to show on tv.

More Information: For a race flyer, registration form, etc.

Cone Pickup: We'll do the best we can to keep the cones in line. If
you see cones on their sides when you're not racing, please replace them
where they belong. Also, if you stick around for the A races, feel free
to stack a few cones and leave them on the side of the course for our
pick up crew after the racing concludes.

Beginner Race: In response to your questions, our beginner race is
intended for first timers, people without cross bikes, non-racers and
anyone else who wants to experience cross or to race their cross bike in
a more relaxed environment.

Call Ups: Part of the fun of blind dating, is the unknown, so please
don't ask.

Blind Date #1 Preparation: Tony and crew are at the Dairy now working
on the course. Candi and I will be there shortly to set up scoring and
onsite registration. To prepare yourself for your Blind Date, please
arrange to bring your best friends, your best smiles, your best smack
talk and your cameras! Tonight should be a blast! Hope you make out
well. -Joe & Tony
