Frankly, this response is no better than the article itself.
I do disagree with Borge's premise, but this response is unwarranted.
He merely expressed his view of what constitutes an athlete, and in his view
bicycle racers do not fit. I think the fact that he may not ride makes him
unaware that being a bike racer involves many more skills than pedaling the
bicycle. Often tri-athletes are terrible bicycle racers, yet they can pedal
fast.
I think his article shows ignorance of the sport, but he did you no harm and
the article was entertaining. As a bicyclist and mediocre racer, I would
prefer it if your response was a bit more reasonable.

research before you go off and put down a sport you
know nothing about.
People like you make me sick, and help me to
understand why journalists get shot at so often over
seas.
