one of my favorite things in life are B grade (or worse) horror movies. why?
because they are so bad that they actually amuse me. Headstones falling
down, UFOs on fishing line and so many other obvious "special" effects. bad
journalist are the same. I just have to laugh and giggle at the bad product.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] Moronic journalists and responses
One thing we all need to keep in mind is that
journalists (and columnists in particular) get paid lots
of money to "stir the pot". Once they find a group of
people with a thin shell, it's open season. By
responding to their nonsense, you are only giving them
more fuel; the more responses they receive from
cyclists, the worse they are going to get. I have a
feeling that in the wake of the Pittsburgh article and
now the Borges article, (and the thousands of responses
sent to the authors of said articles) there will be
plenty more anti-cycling columns written, since cyclists
seem to be a very easy target that can be easily riled
up. It wouldn't suprise me if these columnists had a
side bet amongst themselves to see which column
infuriated the most cyclists.
They're only trying to get a rise out of us, folks.
And, they've succeeded.
