All the grief I was giving folks about rolled tubulars got me. Wednesday about 30 minutes before my race.... I go to put some air in my front tubeless tire... the whole valve starts spinning and it goes flat. After about 15 minutes of pumping (the bead held) and spinning, the sealant finally held and I got to start. It was payback and pretty funny. Keep gluing those tires... they must work great overall.

Subject: [OBRA Chat] the blindest date yet!

we'd like to thank everyone who came out and tore it up at the dairy last night- that lovely sunset had no idea what vicious battles would unfold when the light turned artificial. sorry about the generator mishaps- we got it sorted as quick as we could but many riders had some extra excitement for a couple laps on the darkest corner of the track. it's been rad having super fast courses, but i'm ready for the rain to come and make things dicey. the battle for the coveted castelli leaders jersey is running super tight in each field, and upgrades have thrown in some twists. look for some holeshot primes next week, and keep an eye on your placing in the series as the prize list is looking solid! while it was a drag to not being able to race last night while we were having technical difficulties, it gave me a good excuse to grab a tasty dinner from madison's grill and watch some killer battles go down. way fun. -tony and joe.
