after what has basically been an assault of threats on my private e-mail i've come to the conclusion that oregon mountain bikers aren't as concerned so much about deforestation, landslides or pollutant run-off as they are about squeezing a small bit of single track out of some land that's in the process of disappearing anyway. i know everyone doesn't really feel this way just the loudmouths that attack my e-mail. and for whatever reason need to know my real name. i agree that it's cool that they let us use the place while they eliminate it altogether but i guess i'm in the minority when i would rather sacrifice some (kinda lame) trails in favor of a pollutant free hillside that's on the edge of a major riverway. no big deal. i just thought that most outdoor enthusiasts were a bit more environmentally friendly. sorry, won't happen again.
