Here are the provisional series results after Heiser. Please contact me if
you have any corrections. This is our first year with the High School
program and we are having great success but we have a few bugs to work out.
At Heiser we got many of the ages mixed up. Folks were giving us their
actual age (at the exact moment), their Road Race age (age at end of this
year), and Cyclocross age (age at the end of next year). Yea I know it is
pretty crazy but it matters big time for the scoring. Also we had several
new kids at Heiser and we did not capture if they were on a High School team
or not. So, sorry about any delays but we will dial this in.

Please use this age table in the future!

May Race HS, but not JCS

OK, on to the race action. It was a survival test out there at Heiser. Made
Rainer look like a piece of cake! Congratulations to all finishers who
braved that sticky mid valley mud.

Kolben Preble had a strong ride just beating out Andrew Bennett. Cary Adams,
Colin Dunlap, and Trevor Schauer were mixing it up along with new comer
Jordy Wilson. Cary was able to turn the tables on Colin and Trevor who rode
to 1st and 2nd at Hood River and take home third place at Heiser. Colin's
two solid races has him holding down the individual lead with Cary and
Trevor just behind.

Taylor Tyynismaa showed she is the girl to beat taking our her second
dominant win in the 5 race series. Dana Martel delivered a great performance
to claim second with new comer Anna Weymann taking third. Kara Doescher's
solid rides has earned her a second place in the series overall with Taylor
in first, and Dana Martel in third.

In the team competition (top three finishers per team) West Side Story
(Kolben Preble, Dana Martel, Trevor Schauer) took the win with 84 points.
Corvallis United (Cary Adams, Kara Doescher, Maddy Cripe) came in second
with 81 points. Team Summit (Colin Dunlap, Jack Mahler, Dawson Stallings)
took third with 74 points.

After two rounds it is Corvallis United still holding on to the lead with
Summit, and West Side Story close behind.

The next High School Race is the 10/24 PIR Cross Crusade. I would not be
surprised to see 100 Juniors at that race. See you there!
