Subject: [OBRA Chat] FS: Stan's Notubes ZTR Alpha 340 Rims
For sale: $150 for the set. One set of Stan's new ZTR Alpha 340 Rims
minimally used this season only which are only available as a wheelset
on notubes.com website. These rims have been raced minimally and ridden
maybe once or twice outside of a race. The rear rim has been in one
race, I believe, and the front rim 4 races this season. Right now these
rims are laced to Chris King Classic hubs which I wouldn't mind keeping,
but will sell as a wheelset if the price is right.
Why am I selling? I'm switching to tubular wheels. Hopefully someone
who wants to go tubeless can make good use of these rims for the rest of
the cross season. In the interest of full disclosure, I have found that
these rims are easier to burp and harder to seal than Stan's old ZTR 355
Rims. But, maybe that is just me.
I live in PDX and will be at all Cross Crusade races.
Thanks for your interest,
Scott
