Thanks everyone for coming out for this weekends Rehearsal/Championship Road Race. We had great attendance with a total of 242 riders including 60+ riders in the category 3 and 4/5 groups! Your attendance was much appreciated. We look forward to having everyone back next week. My apologies to those who came to Hood River looking for hotel rooms the night before. Everything was booked up due to the Surf to Summit ride on Saturday and the large wildfire burning east of Hood River. Next week should be a slower weekend but call ahead to assure availability. There were still plenty of camping sites available at the park this past weekend. Even though they won't take reservations at this time there there is more than enough space and the camp director assured me no one will be turned away. It would be nice if we could fill there campgrounds as thanks for letting us use their facilities. Lastly due to traffic problems on Sunday we will be moving things around a little bit. Registration, staging, and the porta potties will now all be located at the center parking lot (the one located between the river and the playground. This should limit the amount of thru traffic and be more convenient for both campers and racers. See you next week.
