I did many stupid things at Sherwood today, including leaving my pit wheels in my truck--and then flatting when I rode into a thorn bush a quarter of the way into the first lap of the Master's C race. Sorry to anyone whose way I got in carrying all the way around the course.
The upside is that I got to see it in a way I might not have if I'd been in my usual oxygen starved, eyes rolling back in my head way, and it was beautiful. Cheers to the promoters, the hosts, and everyone who works so hard to make these races possible.
No matter how many stupid things I do, cross always seems to redeem me. Thanks.
