Maybe not as unique as you might think. Candi got e-mail this week from someone in the midwest who is doing an evening cross race series. They are having scoring difficulties and wanted her advice. They were overwhelmed because they had forty riders at their race.

I think the Blind Date race series is setting a new standard in the Oregon Cross scene. I do not follow Washington or other areas, but this seems pretty unique to my experience. Tony and Joe have made an idea a reality. Yes. Racing at night is way different than the day races, but almost all racers seem to having fun and getting a tough test while playing the field. One more to go and it should be the most sketchy with regard to surface conditions. Atmospheric conditions will become more clear/cloudy as we get closer to Wednesday. Thanks for giving us a chance to do a little mid week race-dating. My bike has been attracted to several other two wheelers. Halloween is only five nights after Wednesday.
