Officials and Scoring

3rd that "amazing job" kudos.... and re-remind us all they do so many times
each season. We can't prevent the mud in cross, but we can get our numbers
on properly to help them do the job.

So after my race today I spent a good 30 minutes trying to get everything less muddy, and the whole time all I could think of was what a difficult job it must have been today for the officials. My number was completely covered in mud as well as a lot of riders in my category, too. And I'm sure a lot of riders in all categories.

I tip my hat to all the officials for spending what is sure to be countless hours trying to get the scoring correct.
