Would have been a better read had he not made political stabs in his writing!
Why does everyone these days feel that they have to be such a politico all the time!?
There is nothing like a political opinion to ruin an otherwise non political good thing!
Remember back in the good old days when there were those two things you didn't talk about!? (P & R)
Now it seems that a person is not 'with it' or 'informed' or 'educated' unless they have some
kind of outspoken political opinion that they feel necessary to vocalize to whoever wants to
(or doesn't want to) hear about it!
We are so inundated with politics these days! I see 12 year old kids on the bus talking about politics!!!
What the hell is up with that?! When I was 10 all I cared about was my Team Murray BMX bike and my guitar!
To me every one of these politicians tries day in and day out to divide us and put us against each other
just to get their ass (or keep it) in a cushy job! (if this is not the case with YOUR political party then I apologize!)
ANYWAY..I see cycling as a paradise away from the otherwise cranky cynical world! All that matters when we all get
together is oxygen, aluminum, rubber, blood, sweat, etc! Besides....when my HR is at 185 I can barely think about
is turning the pedals over and not steering off the road!
Keep the politics on C Span and out of our beloved sport!
