You know Mike was enjoying himself tremendously with the power washer.

First time I have had to go into a finish chute like at a Mountain bike XC race as we finished....except not pull tags, just getting my number powerwashed so they could read it (nice job Mike). Maybe a chute with pull tags is the way to go!

Girl was that off-camber section fun! Boy were those mud puddles a blast! Puppy did I get to be one muddy Cross racer! And wow. Those Frites and the Beer tasted good (beer friendly venue). Thanks to everyone out there who made this such a fun race day. The support for all riders on the course just blows me away. People struggling get so many cheers, their inner strength is bolstered beyond normal range... t hey push through the tough sections.

On a serious note. During clean-up after my race, I went into a period of self-centered-ness to get the initial mud off and some dry clothes on. Last night about 6:30 PM I was thinking that those Knights were probably still out there doing the tear-down and clean up from the event and the officials were still trying to figure out results. A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL THE CRUSADE WORKERS, SPONSORS, RACERS, VOLUNTEERS AND OBRA OFFICIALS who help us have so much fun.

BARTON AWAITS. Thanks to Clackamas County for allowing us to use Barton gravel pit.
