That was an awesome venue, Kenji! If any of you cross racers out there have kids, it was perfect. The parking was very close to the racing (important when you cart a toddler to races), the kids' play area and hay bale house made for a good time for my 2-year-old and they even sold sausages.

Thanks for putting the race on. And, yes, next year I would like a hill. A really, really big hill. The short people have to get their advantage somehow.

Thanks to all of you who drove out to Salem for the Apple Core
cross/crit race!

It was more successful than we anticipated- so much so that we are
making a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Salem and the Mid
Willamette Valley BTA.

Thank you to all the volunteers, Mark and John over at EZ Orchards,
Capitol Velo, Mark Nurre, Ellen Miller, Tim Ehlers, Tyler Jackson,
Kurt Haas, Sage Freeman and everyone who helped out!

Thanks to all the officials and congrats to Steven Beardsley on his
first race as Chief Ref!
