I've had a few enquiries about the BB style these cranks work with. They're
compatible with octalink style BB. After checking back again at the powercranks
website, here is the skinny; even new, they pretty much only work with older
style octalink or square tapered BB if you use Shimano. This is because the
clutch mech that makes it work is actually built into the crank arm where it
attaches to the BB. If it were only a clamp like on newer outboard bearing DA,
there'd be nowhere for the clutch mech. You can check it out here

Anyway, mine are definitely octalink and I have a new 105 octa style BB I can
