Rick and Kenji,
I would like to offer the following thank you and membership ask to
the families of the kids that participated in the 2011 Kiddie Kross
series. If we could get it distributed through the OBRA and Cross
Crusade channels that would be great. Thanks to both of you for your
dedication to our efforts.
Cheers, Tom

Another Season of Mud and Glory at the BTA's Kid's Kross

As Cross Crusade wraps up another record-breaking cyclocross season,
we're settling in for the winter, cleaning the mud from our tricycles
and scoot bikes, rinsing out our handlebar tassels, and pinning our
ribbons and race numbers up in our rooms.

We're also celebrating the biggest record-breaker of all, the world's
largest Kiddie Kross race! (Yes, that's an unofficial record, but if
you saw the 256 kids race at Alpenrose you know it was epic.) Mud,
dirt, barricades and a few costumes to boot rounded out another
amazing year.

The BTA is proud to be involved in what's no longer just the "kid's
version" of the real thing, but an integral and important part of
Cross Crusade. Active families are key to the livability and health of
our cities and communities, and Kid's Kross is a great way to bring
active families together.

If you and your family had as much fun as we did racing Kiddie Kross,
please consider joining the BTA today. We are working to make the
Portland Metro region and Oregon a great place to raise healthy,
active families and we can't do it without your support. BTA
membership starts at $40/year and gives you 10% off of parts and
accessories including helmets, lights and tubular scoot tires - just
kidding, at over 60 bike shops
(http://bta4bikes.org/support/BTABikeShopDiscounts.php#bikeshop) in
Oregon!

Your gift of just $10 or more supports the bicycle movement when you
donate through Give!Guide (http://www.wweek.com/giveguide). (Donate
$60 or more to earn a family membership and extra incentive prizes.)

Thank you!
