Glad you're ok! I saw your bike parked on the side of the road and recognized it from races. Was wondering what had happened.

The bridge was so slick that that turning around and trying to get back to the highway was impossible, and trying to continue down the bridge would have been too dangerous. I felt like a dick leaving it in the bike lane till the frost went away but I didn't have a choice.

Bob,
#1 thing is you are OK. I am sure everyone understands your situation. I was all over the bridge in my 4x4. You did the right thing.

To the two guys who stopped to help me pick up my motorcycle on the
Sauvie Island bridge this morning, THANK YOU! Thanks also to the many
people who stopped or slowed to make sure I was okay. I was going slow
so it was no big deal. I'm fine and the motorcycle has a little more
character.

To everyone who rode out to Kruger's today and had to go around my
motorcycle that was parked in the bike lane, sorry guys! The bridge was
so slick that that turning around and trying to get back to the highway
was impossible, and trying to continue down the bridge would have been
too dangerous. I felt like a dick leaving it in the bike lane till the
frost went away but I didn't have a choice.

Hope everyone had a great race!
