Bikes in Building: update

Hi every one that has either been following this thread or contributed to it. thank you for your support and the great advice that has come of this.

Update: Problem Solved!

Turns out the gym manager and the building manager had different ideas. The building manager is well aware of the codes and laws and has space set aside for covered and secure long term parking for bikes. Its jsut in the basement and is very difficult to get to. They are working on finding another solution because they are aware of how many cyclist it would impact.

The gym manager apparently took it upon themselves to post that sign to just try and make every one use the bike racks outside. In his defense he is not from here and was not aware of the building codes. Remember, its not his job to know build codes, manage and run the business is his deal. But he really didn't want to hear what I had to say either.

So bottom line I have gotten the "OK" to lock my bike up inside on the stairs until they have a designated space built for bikes.

Calm heads prevailed.....
