online training log

I use:

1. Garmin Connect - for sharing group rides/races
2. RideWithGPS.com - for planning routes/rides (also BikeRouteToaster.com)
3. SportTracks (zonefivesoftware.com) - for tracking things long-term

I'm not saying they're the best - but they're free...

I tried Strava out and really liked some of their features:

- The "auto climb finder" is neat. It finds climbs on your ride an
"categorizes" them according to UCI climb rules.

- And, once it auto-finds climbs, it compares your climb performance against
other people in
- your race
- your team
- everyone who has ever ridden that climb

Both are pretty cool and I haven't seen them anywhere else.

Garmin Connect.

It's free, allows posting for many activities, and allows for manual entry
of activities as well. Makes an excellent training log. Also allows for
easy sharing with social media, blogs, etc....

Not as detailed a tool for power analysis, etc. as Training Peaks, but is an
excellent training log for most people in most situations.

I really like SportTracks (http://www.zonefivesoftware.com/sporttracks/) -
I'm using the $30 version, but there is a free fully functional one too. It
doesn't have the integrated workout stuff like TP, but it has a few very
nice plugins for those of us who aren't rocking power to gauge
fitness/fatique types of things as long as you have some type of computer
that stores your workout data.

I like trainingpeaks. I like how detailed you can get + I can use it
not just for cycling, but running and other forms of exercise.

We use trainingpeaks. It works pretty well and is getting better all the
time. There are a few different options for personal use or team/club use.
That's my recommendation. Workoutlog.com is also pretty good.

I'm looking for recommendations for/against any online training logs that you
may have used.  Google finds an overwhelmingly large number of free and paid
sites.

I'm looking for something more than a place to dump GPS data from bike rides.
While the site should have strong support for cycling, it should allow tracking
of other cross-training activities.  Ideally the site allows collaboration with
coaches and teammates.

Support for data entry from smart phones or GPS units is a plus, but the site
should be useful even for people without such gadgets.

Anyone using Corvallis-based http://www.strands.com/ ?

I see a couple of Oregon cycling clubs using http://www.strava.com/   Would
anyone using this service care to post a review?
