For those of you who are on the fence of indecision or simply missed my first call...
We will be hosting Scott Peterson the inventor of this proprietary system the first weekend of January to do fitting at Santiam Bicycle here in Salem. As many of you already know, I have been using Peterson designed footbeds for nearly 10 years with obvious success. Sore feet and back are a distant memory and full custom orthotics are likely one of the BEST upgrades I have ever made! If you are into racing or just want to comfortably ride your bike for hours at a time--this is one of the cornerstones of establishing a perfect fit!
I know many of you are willing to spend hundreds of $$$ to save a few grams of aerodynamic drag or a few ounces of weight. Getting aero may help you on the flats but hurt you on the climbs and losing that precious weight may only help you up the next climb. Why not spend some money and GAIN watts ALL the time?! Why not be ONE with the bike and feel like every fiber of your muscle tissue is applying force to the pedals?! Why not be comfortable all day on the bike with no foot, leg or back pain?!
This is the upgrade that you will never forget or regret! It is an opportunity of a lifetime to meet Scott and have him do your fitting in person as there few people with the expertise, experience and credibility that Scott has to offer in this field. He has made footbeds for countless professional athletes and there is likely no condition he hasn't seen and cannot improve. If you have special concerns or requirements, please let us know when making your appointment.
Since every shoe is different and these insoles are custom fit to both your foot AND the shoe, it is important you are happy with your shoes as far as general fit and performance. Of course, once you have the Cycle Soles inside they will feel even better as you are truly "one with the bike". You will need to bring your favorite shoes/socks, bicycle and be prepared to pedal your bike on an indoor trainer. Keep in mind that this is NOT a bike fit. We recommend that you are already comfortable on your bike or you see a professional bike fitter.
Because the process is time consuming (allow at least one hour), we will be taking appointments for fittings Friday afternoon, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning January 7th-9th. The custom orthotics will be made on site and you will leave with them. No waiting for manufacturing! Even with Scott doing the fitting the price is only $200/pair!
