Yes, I am afraid that's right. These two events are marked preliminary because I haven't confirmed with the promoters. And, as far as I know, neither event offers women's categories. I'm sorry I didn't notice before.
I think it's OK if the women and men have slightly different Oregon Cup events, but it doesn't seem equitable for the men to have two events that the women can't race.
I try to balance a number of things in the Oregon Cup schedule, so I am not sure what we will do for the final schedule. I will try and nail it down soon, though.

I suspect it will be that way this year also, unless you can convince the promoters that there will be a big enough women's field that it is worth their money and effort replace the Cat 3 race with a women's race.
