In criterium

You are entitled to a free lap for

1 crash

flat

breakage of an essential part

It is the riders responsibility to report to the pit to get the free lap.

You must do so immediately after determining that you have a problem.

Getting caught behind a crash (without you actually falling down is not a

reason to report to the pit. You may not fix the bike in any other part of

the course but the pit. You may never jump back in without first reporting

to the pit. If the pit judges determins that it is not a legimate reason

you may have to chase or settle for being x amount of laps down on the

field.

If the judges announce that they will be pulling lapped riders you should

not assume that you are pulled until they point at you and ask you to

retire.

Lapped riders ARE allowed to work with the riders who lapped them.
