Hello All
I just wanted to thank you all for coming to the State Championships. I hope
you had a good time and enjoyed the course. The course was designed by myself
and Zack and Justin "The Oakridge High School Mt Bike Team". Also thanks to
all the high school students out on the course. The race results will be sent
to OBRA in the morning.
Thanks also for coming to my other events Cascade FTF and Shotgun FTF.
It has been great having you at our events and also racing with you at other
events.
I also can't thank my staff enough. All they get are SPY's, ZOIC Gear and
free shirts and pizza and BBQ's.
Thanks to the city of Oakridge and the following businesses who gave money so
we could order those nice medals and shirts. Please support them next time
your riding in Oakridge
RAY's FOOD PLACE...all the food and water at both Oakridge events were given
to us 100% free because the owners and manager are bikers and love to support
the sport.
Rosalina's Mexicain Resturant..gave away over $100 in gift cert just for the
championships.
BIG MOUNTAIN PIZZA....gave money and free pizza
Figaro's...gave free pizza for all at the Cascade FTF
Dairy Queen, Siuslaw Valley Bank, Klamath First and Trial Head Coffeehouse
Gave money so we could have extra big medal and free shirts.
Please support our series sponsors too. If your in the market to buy a
certain kind of product please try and support them first.
Thanks most of all to all of you for supporting the sport of Mt. Biking.
Next year should be a even bigger and better year. We are working on some
great things for 2003. We will have details by late Fall or early Winter.
Take Care and hope to see you all at the finals at Mt. Hood Sept 7 (DH)and 8
(XC).
Overall awards will be presented at this event. (Your best 7 cross country
or best 3 downhill races count. YOU MUST HAVE DONE 7 CROSS COUNTRY OR 3
DOWNHILL IN THE SAME CLASS! The Hurry UP was NOT part of the overall!!!)
