I don't really agree with this. Plenty of people hate various groups that never did anything to them at all. I think this becomes more obvious if you replace "cyclist" (or more commonly "bicycler") with the name of some ethnic group in any anti-cycling rant. Sure there are A-holes on bikes and we all see them do dumb things. The offensive thing is the prejudice that lumps all people on a bike together and sees them as less than individuals. I doubt that this person would become a cycling supporter even if every cyclist went in a purchased something from him. Now if someone forced him to ride a bike regularly that might change his tune.

Hi eveyone! Yeah that is too bad about that cyclist and that business owner down town. What we dont think about is the owner was not born hateing cyclists. Some cyclist did something to him/her to make him that way or something happened with a cyclist. Remember pitbulls are not vicious its the owner that made them that way. Maybe his brother got a bike and he didnt for christmas. Who knows? I was right there with eveyone to boycot this business BUT the other side of me say's there is an oppurtunity for the cycling community to reach out and turn this hater into a supporter.
Anyway just my thoughts...
My site has been updated with a local product! So show her some love. Randi Jo fabricaitons
