A light weight wheel set really only matters with rotational weight. These are one of the lightest weight aluminum clincher rims on the market!!! Only 390g each!!!
20/24 hole count with internal nipple drillings to give it that clean look. I did build up the front rim but only rode it a few times. The rear rim was never built up.
If you build them right, like with Sapim CX-Ray spokes and C-4 hubs, you could end up with a 1300g wheelset!! Great for climbing!!!
I will give the warning that these rims are designed for light weight riders. Like Alberto Contador light! But they will spin up faster than any other aluminum rim out there.
The only reason I’m selling them is I plan on spending the big bucks for carbon tubular.
