Howdy,

I'm looking for a good shape, used but relatively new 56cm road bike
to ride a Half Ironman Tri. My budget is $700-$800. I know I can get
a fairly decent bike new for that price (especially next month), but
I'm hoping I might be able to find a better deal used. I don't think
I'm quite ready for a full-on Tri bike though. This will be my first
road bike ever, and it will be replacing a mountain bike that was
"liberated" from a locked storage area last month. Anybody there with
something like that? I apologize if I've missed recent posts about
this. I'm new to this site as of 3 minutes ago.
