Hi,
Well, as the subject says, looking to buy a road tandem. Two catches: it's gotta be small and cheap.
How small? Both the cap'n and stoker ride 54ish CM road bikes.
How cheap? Oh, between 400 and 700ish dollars? Ideally a lower-end 90s Santana/Ibis/Burley, but any brand will work. 26" or 700c wheels, probably steel (but a Cannondale would work), anywhere from 5spd to 9spd drivetrain.
Prefer drop bars, but a hybrid/upright position would work, too.
