Hi folks:

I'm going to be collecting used bike clothing and bike shoes (road or mountain) at the Cherry Pie race on Saturday to donate to the kids in Step Up. This is a program for at-risk kids that our Pacific Power Blue Sky teammates in Roseburg have been supporting. Some of the kids from Step Up participated in the junior and/or HS cross races this year. We hear reports of a lot of enthusiasm for more racing. So your items will be used. Also, if there are saddles and pedals in good condition but that you don't want, we'll take em, too.

I'm going to leave a collection box by the Cherry Pie registration area with a sign saying "Step Up". Just put your stuff in there and our Roseburg teammates will take it home. Or, if you see me in the parking area, just hand your things off to me and I'll get em into the box.
