We could gather all politicians and talk-radio hosts and put them along
the course and have
them all try to make their point at the same time over the course of 10
minutes. That would
melt the snow...

Geez, and only a month of winter yet to go.

Who would have thought it possible?...

Hagg Lake. Over the next 24 hours, it is possible that up to 5
inches could fall on our beloved Banana Belt course. If
temperatures do not rise enough to melt the white crap by race
day, we will be forced to cancel BB#1. We will be monitoring
conditions at the lake daily and will post notices to the list as
to road conditions. At some point late Saturday, I will make "the
call" to race or not. The determination will be posted to the OBRA
email list.

If BB#1 is cancelled, we will move everything back a week and
hold BB#3 on March 20th. If this happens, for those of you who
have pre-registered for the series and cannot race on March 20th
your entry fee will be refunded or credited toward Tues PIR.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any
questions, recommendations or a snowplow (seriously).

It pains me to write this. Presently, it is snowing at Hagg Lake. Over the
next 24 hours, it is possible that up to 5 inches could fall on our beloved
Banana Belt course. If temperatures do not rise enough to melt the white
crap by race day, we will be forced to cancel BB#1. We will be monitoring
conditions at the lake daily and will post notices to the list as to road
conditions. At some point late Saturday, I will make "the call" to race or
not. The determination will be posted to the OBRA email list.

If BB#1 is cancelled, we will move everything back a week and hold BB#3 on
March 20th. If this happens, for those of you who have pre-registered for
the series and cannot race on March 20th your entry fee will be refunded or
credited toward Tues PIR.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions,
recommendations or a snowplow (seriously).
