It's an open race this year

Close to 200 pre registered in race 1 of 10 this coming Saturday in echo oregon
271 miles from corvallis and a nice stop in hood river on the way
They may get close to 400 so be on time

Some things to remember

Have fun
You all know how to do that and super cool singletrack and sweet ramps
and bridges as you roll over never ending hills

Safety

Wear your helmet anytime you are on your bike
Our rules and insurance demands it

If someone goes down se if they are ok
Report to the nearest aide station the condition of any hurt rider

Make sure to show your OBRA card at registration do not forget

Remember if your team has not paid your OBRA club dues you will not
have your team name in the OBRA results To be tracked for the OBRA BAR

Annual licenses for sale for 25.00

Race hard but if you are clogging up the trails,please yield and ask
nicely to pass and say thank you when passing

It's a great course and the echo trail builders put alot of work into
the trails and the race

Sounds like we will be having dj from niner coming in to test his
early season fitness and dish it out with the tri state crowd.

Wow the mtb season is upon us and Its shapin up to be a very
competitive season with old enemy's facing off and new rivals each
week

I am very excited to bring the best 10 races for xc that all if us can
offer from march at echo red to red and finishing up at picketts
charge in late June

Competition

Sunnyside sports have the big target on them as defending series team
champions led by don leet and other yellow and black Lycra clad dirt
lovers.

Remember the overall winners will be decided for the best 7 of 10 races

Exciting news on the junior front
Juniors can compete in the series for the junior mtn cup by racing any
4 of 10 events for the best point total
In addition we will be tracking your club team for individual points
as well as your high school team for total high school points inside
the series
