Hello All-



I will be out of town the weekend of the Camas Races,

http://www.wordsports.com/nrrcamasrace2002.htm at least until late

Saturday night. For any of out-o-towners or anyone who would like to be

only about 20 minutes from Camas, I would like to offer my apartment as

a place to stay- free and cozy. I live in northeast Vancouver. I have

two bedrooms- one is just an empty room with bike stuff. unless I find a

roommate before then, two bathrooms, and plenty of room on the floor

.Maybe this will provide an incentive for a couple of riders. Maybe a

few from the same team could get together on this.



The only trade off is to put up with and possibly let my dog out. (Very

lovable and friendly)

The second annual Camas Downtown Dash is almost here.



Some of you may have wondered why the course is so short.



Let me explain...there are hills to be conquered! Anyone who has been

out in Camas will know what I am talking about. There is 3500' of marvelous

climbing. Don't let this scare you. Last years riders loved the course as

it offered a variety of challenging roads. With this climbing comes

sweeping decents.



I will say this omnium (3 day event) will top off the season as the most fun

as well as test you fitness that you have acquired this season.

Not to mention $3000 is prizes. You DO NOT want to miss this event



Pre-register before September 5 and pay on $30 for all three events.

Registration goes up to $35 after that date.
