I'll second that. I did the inaugural Capitol Forest 100 miler last
year. The single track rocks, there were enough places to pass, the
organization was great ... the forest is gorgeous ... the hill
climbing isn't too bad (even if there was over 11,000 vertical gain!)
... the downhill sections are killer sweet (remember that vertical
gain? you get to go down it too!) ... aid stations are plentiful..
This is an excellent venue for an endurance MTB race, and it's well
run by 4th D.
It's a super sweet mountain bike race - probably one of the best I've done.
